(Yaaseen) 36 : 22
وَمَا لِيَ لَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

“Why should I not serve the One Who has originated me, and unto Him, you will be returned”.

The believer is the one who has confirmed belief that the Lord is the Creator of everything and that everyone will be returned to Him and must answer for their life from the age of fifteen until death. Such a believer always remembers the Lord in standing, sitting, and laying down, and also leads a life as the vicegerent of the Lord. But the hypocrites, by forgetting the Lord, have forgotten themselves and have become transgressors, as told in verse 59:19. They prefer worldly life and their whims over the Hereafter and the Lord’s Book, as explained in verses 10:7-8. See explanation 10:104-106; 32:13-14; 35:1.
